Our Story
Our story began on a regular Friday evening with nothing special planned. Claudine was out with her best friend, when her friends Boyfriend at the time came down with a very sudden case of FOMO and decided to join them.
The catch – he didn’t come alone. He invited a friend from work, which as fate would have it, would change the course of both our lives forever.
From the moment we met, everything else faded into the background. The music, the crowd, everything. Our connection was instant and effortless, rendering us as an inseparable pair from that moment onwards.
What had begun as a spontaneous evening with friends turned into the beginning of something truly special, real and endlessly joyful. Not long after, our on-going adventures turned into something even more special when she said yes in November 2025
As we prepare for the next chapter of our lives together, we do so with immense gratitude for how it all began, the memories made thus far and uncontained excitement for what is to come

Weekend Wedding Details
We are fortunate enough to have the entire venue to ourselves from Friday – Sunday and would love for you to join us on the Friday night for a bring and braai.
- To bring: Own dop and chop
Kindly note – no outside alcohol is permitted at the reception on the Saturday night. Rest assured, there is a very well stocked bar ready to cater for your every need!
Dress Code
We would love for you to feel as stunning as we do on the day, so we kindly request the following:
Men: Semi-formal (blazers optional; tie non-negotiable)
Women: Semi-formal (knee length or full length dresses or jumpsuits)
no white / cream / beige dresses are permitted (you will be thrown with red wine)

Can I bring a plus one?
A plus one is welcomed for everyone – but please do inform us when you RSVP who you are bringing for table seating arrangements
Can I bring my kids?
While we love your little ones, we kindly ask that our wedding day be an adults-only celebration. Thank you so much for understanding and for helping us make our day special.
Is accommodation included?
There is accommodation available for up to 55 guests at De Pecan Valley, which will be for your own cost. Should all the accommodation be taken at the venue, please feel free to contact the other accommodation options listed under the ‘accommodations’ tab.
Can I attend only the ceremony and the reception, or must I be there from Friday onwards?
While we would love for you to join us on Friday night as we prepare to say our “I Do’s”, you are under no obligation to stay from Friday night onwards.
How does breakfast work in the morning?
Should you wish to join us from Friday night onwards, Saturday morning will be self-catering. There is an option to join us for Breakfast on Sunday Morning at De Pecan at the cost of R175 pp
Gifts?
All that we truly ask for is your presence at our wedding. However, should you wish to give a gift, a contribution towards our honeymoon would be immensely appreciated as we begin this new chapter of life together.
